About Us

The Episcopal Diocese of Alabama is part of the Episcopal Church. We are led by the Bishop Henry N. Parsley on a mission to help others understand God’s love.

As believers in the resurrected Jesus Christ, we are bringing His message to people all over Alabama.

There are 92 parishes and worshipping communities within the diocese with a total of almost 36,000 baptized members as of December 31st, 2004. Baptized membership within the diocese has increased at a rate twice that of the total population growth in the 48 county area between 2000 and 2002.
